McGraths Hill Transformation - 2026

What began as a tired 1960s three‑bed, two‑bath home, damaged by termites, patched with multiple poor extensions, and ultimately unliveable has been completely reimagined. This McGraths Hill project is one of our most dramatic turnarounds to date.

We’ve transformed the property into a warm, modern, open‑plan family home designed for both everyday living and effortless entertaining. The new layout features four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a separate laundry, and a large custom kitchen with a full butler’s pantry. Flowing out from the main living space is a huge 6×8m modwood deck accessed via a 6 stacked bi-fold door, creating a seamless indoor–outdoor connection.

Landscaping is now underway and will complete the vision: a concrete swimming pool, paved seating area, glass fencing, fresh turf, and a lush tropical garden positioned to frame the expansive living and dining windows bringing greenery, softness, and life into the heart of the home.

This beautiful federation‑style home in Enfield is undergoing a major uplift, blending classic character with a fresh, modern layout designed around how this family lives today. Working closely with our clients, we guided their original concept into a design that met both their vision and their budget without compromising the outcome.

What was once a compact 2‑bed, 1‑bath home is being thoughtfully expanded into a 3‑bed, 2‑bath residence featuring a standout master suite complete with a walk‑in robe and private ensuite. The original closed‑off kitchen has been completely demolished, making way for a spacious open‑plan living and dining area that flows seamlessly onto a new timber deck, the perfect space for hosting family gatherings and enjoying the outdoors.

The new kitchen will showcase integrated appliances and a stunning natural stone hand‑selected by our clients, bringing luxury and warmth into the heart of the home.
